Online Program Services

As a currently enrolled student in an online program at The University of Scranton, you can access Library materials to support your research and coursework. Use Royal Search to find articles, books, journals, media, & more that are available both physically and electronically. You will be required to log in with your R number and password to access e-books, articles, and streaming media.

You also have 24/7 access to the Ask a Librarian chat service for help with your research and using the Library's resources.

The services mentioned below can be obtained by registering for an ILLiad account. Please contact the ILL office at interlibrary-loan@scranton.edu before making any requests.

  • Delivery of articles from journals physically owned by the Weinberg Memorial Library
    • Most articles are available electronically. Articles from newspapers, magazines, or journals that are unavailable from the Weinberg Memorial Library's electronic collections can be scanned and sent to your ILLiad account.
  • Delivery of books from the Weinberg Memorial Library
    • Books will be shipped to you by UPS. You are responsible for returning all books to the Weinberg Memorial Library at your own expense, using UPS Ground (contact us first if you must use other shipping options).
  • Delivery of materials not owned by the Weinberg Memorial Library
    • Materials will be borrowed from other libraries and delivered to you as outlined above.
