Donna Witek is Professor and Information Literacy Coordinator in The University of Scranton's Weinberg Memorial Library. As Information Literacy Coordinator she develops collaborative relationships with course instructors and administrators in the service of the information literacy program and the campus curriculum, and leads in the library’s assessment of student learning. She also provides research services and support through information literacy instruction to members of the university community. She serves as librarian liaison the following departments and programs: Theology/Religious Studies, English & Theatre, History, World Languages and Cultures, Women’s and Gender Studies, Latin American Studies, Art and Music History, and Judaic Studies.

She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and English Literature from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, her Master of Library & Information Science from Long Island University’s Palmer School of Library & Information Science, and her Master of Arts in Theology from The University of Scranton.

Interests and Expertise: information literacy and Ignatian pedagogy; critical information literacy and critical librarianship; collaboration with faculty across disciplines; information literacy and writing programs; metaliteracy; effects of technology on theological information; worship, liturgy, and liturgical theology
