Donna Witek is Professor in The University of Scranton's Weinberg Memorial Library where she serves in the roles of Information Literacy Coordinator and Research & Instruction Librarian for the Humanities and Ignatian Pedagogy. As Information Literacy Coordinator she develops collaborative relationships with course instructors and administrators in the service of the information literacy program and the campus curriculum, and leads in the library’s assessment of student learning. As the Research & Instruction Librarian for the Humanities and Ignatian Pedagogy she supports the Humanities subject areas through information literacy instruction, research support, and collection development, and serves as a resource in incorporating Ignatian pedagogy into information literacy instructional and library services. She serves as subject liaison librarian to the Humanities subject areas, including English & Theatre, History, Philosophy, Theology / Religious Studies, World Languages and Cultures, Art and Music History, and Judaic Studies.

She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and English Literature from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, her Master of Library & Information Science from Long Island University’s Palmer School of Library & Information Science, and her Master of Arts in Theology from The University of Scranton.
