The University of Scranton COVID-19 Archive

Seeking submissions

The University Archives serves The University of Scranton community by collecting and preserving records of permanent historical value. These records reflect the life of the institution and document its various functions including teaching, research, cultural activities, student life, administration and athletics.

Help us document the COVID-19 pandemic by contributing to the University Archives. Our goal is to collect materials that reflect how the University’s activities, teaching and learning have changed as a result of the pandemic. We invite you to contribute your photos, screenshots, social media posts, videos and stories. Years from now, students, faculty, and staff will be able to learn about our daily experiences and how we adapted during this crisis.

Students: How are you sustaining your studies and relationships during this time?
Faculty: Share how you have adapted to remote instruction. How has this had an impact on your research and scholarship?
Staff: What innovative methods have you found to keep the University running during this time?
Alumni & Others: How has life changed for you? What has your experience been in your community?

Examples of what to donate:

  • screenshots of social media posts
  • videos or recordings of events, workouts, performances, spoken words and music shared online
  • photos of your home workspace
  • photos from around your community that document changes in society
  • screenshots of class work or lectures given online
  • homeschool schedules or other daily routines for parents working from home
  • journal entries (written, audio, or video) documenting your experience

Submissions can be in the form of photos, text files, PDFs, spreadsheets, presentations, audio or video files. Please submit materials using The University of Scranton COVID-19 Archive form.
