As we move forward into a new decade, The University of Scranton embraces five bold, transformational strategic goals. Grounded in our mission, this new Strategic Plan will guide our University community as we navigate changes, challenges, and opportunities for the coming five years, though we believe its impact will be felt well beyond.
Although the ways we provide a transformational University of Scranton education may change, our mission remains constant, and our strategic goals and objectives grow directly from this centuries-old foundation. No doubt, the Strategic Plan is lofty in its aspirations, and we launch it in a time of unprecedented change for higher education. But we know that together we will achieve concrete outcomes that will positively impact the lives of our students, our campus community, and our broader Scranton family.

Engage students as individuals through personal attention that helps them explore their faith, discern their purpose and pursue their passion, as they work to create a more just and sustainable world.
Advancing the University Through Innovation
Advance the University into the future by challenging ourselves to educate and support an ever-changing, diverse landscape of students in ways that are affordable, relevant and innovative.
Diversity & Inclusion – A Welcoming and Supportive Community
Reflect and understand the diversity of the world by demanding that diversity be a priority as we build an inclusive community and campus culture, develop and deliver our education and shape our student experience.
Growing Partnerships in Our Mission
