Fall 2025 Sophomore & Upperclass Move-In Process
Move-In Instructions on Sunday, August 24th
- Pick up your room key at the assigned check-in station (see below)
- Unpack your car first then move it out of the way to the street or a parking lot
- Proceed to bring items to your room and get settled in
- Residence Life and Housing Staff will be around and available to assist with any questions you may have
Check-In Procedure
Upperclass residence hall move-in occurs on Sunday, August 24th from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.- 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM key pick-up is at assigned station (see below)
- 3:00 PM - 7:45 PM key pick-up is in Residence Life, Condron Hall 100
- After 7:45 PM, ask your RA or the RA on Duty to let you into your room for the evening and report to the Office of Residence Life and Housing in Condron Hall 100, on Monday during business hours.
The Office of Residence Life and Housing, located in 100 Condron Hall, will be open from 9:00 AM - 7:45 PM on Sunday, August 24th for assistance and late arrivals.
Check-In Stations on Sunday, August 24th from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Gavigan Hall, Redington Hall - Top of the Panuska Commons (outside of Gavigan Hall)
- Condron Hall - Residence Life Office (Condron 100)
- Linden Plaza apartments (Dorothy Day, Katharine Drexel, Elizabeth Ann Seton) -- Condron Hall Corner (intersection of Linden Street & North Webster Ave)
- Madison Square & Romero Plaza apartments - Romero Plaza courtyard
- Montrone & Pilarz Halls and Quincy Avenue apartments - Montrone patio (intersection of Mulberry Street & Quincy Avenue)
Traffic Patterns Sunday, August 24th from 9 AM - 7:45 PM
Follow these traffic patterns to unload personal belongings:
- Condron, Gavigan, & Redington - Both sides of the Linden Street Commons (1100 block) will be available for unloading vehicles from 9AM to 8PM on Sunday, August 24th. Cars must enter through the Royal Way by DeNaples Center/GLM or the Clay Avenue Commons by Driscoll Hall. Cars are not permitted to enter this one way un-loading area off of North Webster Avenue by Condron Hall.
- Montrone & Pilarz - For unloading purposes only, vehicles may enter the service road behind Montrone and Pilarz Halls from either Quincy or Monroe Avenues traveling toward Hitchcock Court. Vehicles may also enter Hitchcock Court from Mulberry Street but adhere to the one way traffic patterns. All vehicles must exit Hitchcock Court on Vine Street.
- Madison Square & Romero Plaza - For unloading in these areas, students may utilize the nearest University parking lots or public streets.
- Redington Hall - The Redington Parking Lot will be made available for resident students to unload vehicles on Sunday, August 24th. It is important that vehicles do not remain in the parking lot after they are loaded, please move to street parking or Ridge Row Lot.
- Quincy Avenue Apartments - The Parking lot adjacent to the Quincy Avenue Apartments will be available for resident students to unload vehicles on Sunday, August 24th. It is important that vehicles do not remain in parking spots labeled for Drop-Off/Pick-Up as those will be utilized by Bright Horizons on Monday morning; please move to street parking or the Quincy Lot past the building.
The Royal Way, Clay Avenue, Mahon Court, & the Commons are one-way unloading areas only. Vehicles must remain off the grass whenever possible and never left unattended while in the unloading areas.

- Approved Early Arrival Residents will receive a separate email regarding instructions (applications will be available via the Housing Portal starting August 4th).
