Kathleen Wallace

Class of 2023

Kathleen Wallace

I am Kathleen Wallace, a sophomore Philosophy and Theology major from Bowie, Maryland. I love advocating for fellow students on Student Government and I am so excited for the opportunity to continue to do so next year! Since joining Student Government as a Class of 2023 Senator my first year at Scranton, I have chaired the Student Transitions and Appropriations Committee, served on the University Planning Committee with other students, faculty, and staff, and served on the Campus Life and Dining Committee. On campus I also serve as a Residential Assistant for first year students, am a lawyer and the secretary of Scranton's Mock Trial team, tutor through CTLE, am a student in the Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Program, and participate in Scranton's Praise and Worship club.  I also volunteer as a middle school tutor downtown and served as an Orientation Assistant this past summer. These various clubs I've been involved in and leadership positions I have held have made me love the Scranton community more and more and make me passionate about serving this community through Student Government. Having already served as a Class of 2023 Senator, I understand the communication, teamwork, and leadership skills necessary for Student Government, and I am confident that I can represent the Class of 2023 well as a Senator this coming year. I am eager to continue to serve as one of your dedicated and enthusiastic Class of 2023 Senators!
