Commuter Student Resources

Welcome to our Commuter Student Resource page!

We know that commuter students are on the go! CSE is committed to supporting commuting students and helping them to navigate their college experience! You are an integral part of our University community and we want you to feel at home on campus.

Commuter Student Association

The Commuter Student Association (CSA) strives to help commuters build connections within the campus community. Through planning social events and by providing a platform for students to discuss commuter specific issues and related topics, the CSA works to enhance the commuter student experience!

Don't forget to join the CSA on RoyalSync!

Commuter Lockers

The University of Scranton has a select number of lockers available on the first floor of the DeNaples Center for commuting students. Commuter lockers are available on a first come, first served basis and are available via a registration process (coming soon). If a locker is claimed and not registered through the on-line reservation process, the lock will be removed and all content will be donated. Questions? Contact

Signature Programs

In partnership with the Commuter Student Association, the Center for Student Engagement aims to provide social and educational programming to all of our commuter students. In addition to new and exciting social events, we have a variety of signature programs we hold each year to help foster an inclusive and welcoming community among our commuting students.  One signature program we offer Commuter Day the Royal Way occurs before your first semester even begins and serves as an unofficial orientation made for commuter students by commuter students.  We strive to engage with all students in our community and welcome any new programming ideas you may be interested in attending.

Make sure to follow us on Instagram (@uofs_csa) to see highlights from our past programming, and to keep up on all of the upcoming club activities and offerings!

Have time between classes?

Have some time between classes? Check out the Butler Student Forum, on the second floor of the DeNaples Center. With plenty of seating and places to work, this is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat and hang out with friends between classes. Microwave and mini fridge are available for students who commute to campus!
