William G. Wallick, Ph.D., SPHR

Bio

William G. Wallick, Ph.D., SPHR is an associate professor and director of the Human Resources Online Master’s program at the University of Scranton. Dr. Wallick has worked as a human resource practitioner and academic for the past 36 years. He is a life certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He earned a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development from the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to his career in academia, he held progressively responsible senior leadership positions in human resource management.

Synopsis of Current Research

Dr. Wallick is co-author of the book What CEOs Expect from Corporate Training (AMACOM). His research focus for the past ten years has been on The employment, inclusion, and retention of individuals with disabilities in the workplace. He has made numerous presentations related to his research interests in global, national, regional, and local settings. One of Dr. Wallick’s most distinguished recent awards was being named as a United States Fulbright Scholar to the Republic of Mauritius in academic year 2006-2007.

The Northeast Pennsylvania Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management presents this award annually to the member who makes a significant contribution to the HR profession. This award was presented in recognition of the publishing of my book "What CEOs Expect from Corporate Training".
