Guided Mindfulness Meditation- Monday 5:00 pm-5:30 pm Weiss Hall Well-being Room

Instructor: Lisa Rigau MS, BSN, RN, Healthy Lifestyle Management

This half-hour class provides the fundamentals of Mindfulness Meditation is shown to reduce anxiety and depression and to improve well-being. Through increased awareness of body sensations, thoughts and emotions these practices are intended to enhance the participant’s ability to recognize and respond to the stressors of everyday life with greater skill and resilience. Through meditation and awareness practices, we will explore this practical and evidence-based approach to assist in alleviating stress and enhancing flourishing in life. 

Calm & Strong Yoga- Tuesday 5:30 pm-6:15 pm- Weiss Hall Well-being Room

Instructor: Miranda Miaris

 Calm & Strong Yoga is a weekly invitation to slow down, soften, and reset your nervous system. This is a Yin and Restorative yoga practice, featuring slow, steady, floor-based postures to gently release tension in the body and calm the mind. This class is open to everyone. There are no physical requirements and no prior yoga experience needed.

Evening Reset & Restore Yoga-Tuesday 7:00 pm- 7:45 pm-Weiss Hall Well-being Room 

Instructor: Lynn Braz

This 45-minute gentle, all-levels yoga class focuses on mindful movement, mental clarity and breathing to help manage stress, improve concentration, and support overall well-being. Perfect for unwinding in the evening and creating space to reset before the rest of your week. Designed for all levels, the practice helps reduce stress,
improve focus, and restore a sense of balance.

Functional Movement Yoga- Wednesday 12:15 pm -12:45 pm- Weiss Hall Well-being Room 

Instructor: Nicole Kreidler

Recharge your midday with this 30-minute lunchtime class designed to build strength, increase mobility, and energize your body. Flow continuously through standing and floor-based sequences that link movement with breath, helping you activate the muscles that support you in daily life. Take this time for yourself to enhances body awareness, focus, and functional strength keeping you grounded, present, and strong throughout your day. This is best for those looking for a more active class.

Empowered Yoga Flow- Thursdays 5:30 pm -6:15pm- Weiss Hall Well-being Room    

Instructor: Miranda Miaris

 Empowered Yoga is designed to build strength, stability, and confidence, both physically and mentally. This class blends intentional movement with mind-to-muscle awareness to help you feel present, empowered, and strong. You can expect a moderately active class that focuses on functional strength, mobility, and alignment. Modifications and options are always offered so you can move in a way that feels right for your body. The pace is intentional and accessible, allowing you to challenge yourself while still honoring rest when needed. 

Yoga for Stress & Tension Relief- Fridays 12:15-12:50 pm-

Instructor: Kim Dempsey

Yoga for Stress & Tension Relief is a nervous system–supportive class focused on easing physical and mental stress. Through slow, mindful movement, grounding breathwork, and gentle stretches, participants release tension held in the neck, shoulders, hips, and low back. The class promotes a sense of spaciousness, grounding, and connection, leaving participants with lasting calm beyond the mat.
