 EXCELLENCE IN INTEGRATING MISSION AND JUSTICE INTO THE CURRICULUM      

This award honors a faculty member whose special efforts ensure that students have a keen understanding and appreciation of the realities of the world, including pressing justice issues in a local, national and global context.  The award recognizes the efforts of a faculty member dedicated to the service of faith and the promotion of justice, as it relates to their teaching (including therein efforts to develop courses and programs and to select texts that address contemporary faith and justice issues). The recipient of this year’s award is Dr. Lori Walton.

Dr. Lori Walton, a Professor in the Physical Therapy Department, joined the University in 2020.  Dr. Walton received her BS in Anatomy/Physiology/Biology in 1993 from Andrews University, MS in Physiotherapy in 1995 from Andrews University,  DPT in 2005 from Creighton University, and Ph.D. in Physiotherapy from Nova Southeastern University.
