Robert S. and Marilyn A. Weiss Hall

The nearly 90,000 square-foot center for workforce development, applied research and outreach, located on the 300 block of Madison Avenue, was dedicated Sept. 3, 2025.
The four-story building includes state-of-the-art specialized laboratories, training and education spaces and will be home to two academic departments, student health and wellness.

The University of Scranton's women's basketball team has won the Landmark Conference championship for the 11th year in a row and has a 31-0 record. The Lady Royals have made the NCAA Division III Final Four and will play New York University (29-0) at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 19, with the winner advancing to the national title game. The DIII Final Four games will be streamed on ESPN+.

Philip E. Auerswald, Ph.D., of George Mason University, will deliver the spring Henry George Seminar at The University of Scranton on April 15.

Spring 2026 Pysanka Workshops to Benefit Humanitarian Relief in Ukraine 

Four pysanka workshops will be offered as follows: Sunday, March 22, from 1-3 p.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 29, from 1-3 p.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m. The $30 workshop fee will be donated.
