Music Ministry

The University Music Ministry provides uplifting music at liturgies throughout the academic year. There are opportunities for singers and instrumentalists of all abilities.

We welcome singers at all levels of training. No audition is required and the ability to read music is not mandatory–but a love for singing and the desire to have fun is! The repertoire of these choirs covers a vast array of church music from contemporary to vibrant choral anthems.

Rehearsals are held weekly. Various options are available to accommodate students’ schedules. The choir usually leads the music at the 7PM Mass on Sundays as well as University liturgies including: New Student Welcome Mass, Mass of the Holy Spirit, Family Weekend, Advent Liturgy & Tree Lighting, Palm Sunday Liturgy, and Baccalaureate Mass.

Lead the assembly in sung prayer as a soloist or with a small group. For confident vocalists. Audition with Director of Music.

A variety of instrumentalists (piano, guitar, bass, drums, strings, woodwinds, and brass) are welcome to participate. These musicians enhance our liturgies with the unique sounds of their instruments. The ability to read music is mandatory.

Join our band of students who play together at Mass on a monthly basis. This group gathers for a few rehearsals before each time they play at Mass. All instruments are welcome!
