Managing Performance Management

The Office of Human Resources is pleased to offer a training session for managers, entitled Managing Performance Management.

As part of the Performance Management Program, managers will shortly be preparing for the yearly review of staff performance.  Performance evaluations are due to the Office of Human Resources by July 31st.  In advance of this deadline, we have developed a training session to provide information, resources and guidance on performance management for managers who supervise staff.   This training will focus on the performance management process, use of the University’s performance management tool, conducting a performance evaluation, effective communication, and goal setting. 

The first session will be offered on Monday May 13th and subsequent sessions will be held each of the following three Wednesdays, May 22nd, May 29th and June 5th.  All sessions will be in the Weinberg Memorial Library (WML) room 305 from 2 – 4pm.  Please R.S.V.P. to Human Resources at with your name, department and date you would like to attend.
