Society of Accounting Students

The Society of Accounting Students (SAS) is the University’s general accounting club. This is the only one of our accounting clubs that falls under the jurisdiction of student government and club council.  The purpose of this club is to promote the accounting profession and provide accounting students with professional development and community service opportunities.

Membership Duties and Benefits

Membership Requirements

  • Open to all Undergraduate Accounting Majors and Minors
  • Complete membership renewal form annually
  • $10 Annual Dues
  • Participation in 75% of all club professional activities
  • Participation in 75% of all club service activities

  • Networking opportunities with students, faculty, alumni, and professionals
  • Career Expo, resume, and interview preparation
  • Professional, certification, and internship panel discussions
  • CPA Exam informational sessions and mock CPA exams
  • Professional speakers from different areas of accounting
  • Site visits
  • Participation in community service activities
