Below is a tentative schedule of events for Reunion Weekend 2018.

    12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Registration & Hospitality Center

    First Floor, The DeNaples Center

    When you arrive on campus, make The DeNaples Center your first stop. A warm welcome awaits you at our Hospitality Center, where you’ll receive your name tag, event tickets and other information.

    3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Retreat Center at Chapman Lake Open House

    Visit the Retreat Center at Chapman Lake Friday afternoon and take in all of the beauty and peacefulness of this special place. Light refreshments will be served.

    5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Class of 1968 Clam Bake


    7:00 p.m Reunion Weekend Opening Celebration featuring the Frank J. O'Hara Alumni Awards 

    All alumni and guests are invited to join us for this complimentary signature event to start the weekend.
    The Frank J. O'Hara Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented annually to alumni who have exhibited sustained achievement in a particular field or endeavor. The Frank J. O'Hara Recent Graduate Award will be presented as well. These are the highest awards bestowed jointly by The University and The Alumni Society.
    A complimentary wine and cheese reception will be held immediately following the Awards Presentation.

    9:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. All-Class Welcome Reception

    The perfect way to start the weekend!  It's the perfect place to meet your friends.  Tickets required.

    9:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. 50-Year Class Cordial Reception

    A reception for the Class of 1968.

  • SATURDAY, JUNE 9plus or minus


    8:30 a.m. –7:00 p.m. Registration & Hospitality Center

    First Floor, The DeNaples Center

    9:00 a.m. – Noon Explore Scranton**

    Take time for a self-guided tour of local attractions. Information will be available at registration as well as on the Guidebook App.

    9:00 a.m. – Noon Bike Scranton**

    Bike Scranton is a cooperative program between The University of Scranton Office of Sustainability and the Lackawanna Valley Heritage Authority. Bikes are available on a first come first serve basis and will be located at theDeNaples Center Patio. You may borrow a bike as long as you have a photo ID and are at least 18 years of age. Any family member under 18 years of age must bring their own bike to ride. Click here to download information on Bike Scranton and trails in the area

    10:30 a.m. – Noon Walking tour to the Kevin P. Quinn, S.J. Athletics Campus

    Join Dave Martin, Director of Athletics, for a walking tour to the Kevin P. Quinn, S.J. Athletics Campus. There you will see Scranton's newest fields that are home to baseball, soccer, softball, lacrosse and field hockey.


    10:00 a.m. – Noon Open Swim**

    Alumni, friends and children accompanied by an adult are welcome to take a swim in the pool.

    10:00 a.m 50-Year Class Memorial Service

    Memorial Service honoring deceased members of the Class of 1968 will be held in Sacred Heart Chapel.


    11:00 a.m. Royal Gatherings

    Informal receptions that give you an opportunity to reconnect with faculty, staff and fellow alumni who share your affinity.Bands and Singers alumni will be hanging out at Houlihan with Cheryl Boga and ROTC alumni will gather at the Veterans Center on the first floor of Hyland Hall.

    11:00 a.m. -Noon Campus Tap Presentation


    12:30 p.m. 3:00 p.m. All-Class Family Picnic** - Tickets Required 

    A favorite at every Reunion, the picnic offers an afternoon of traditional picnic fare; beer, wine and soda bar; entertainment; and plenty of activities for children. Show your Scranton pride by wearing your favorite University of Scranton T-shirt.

    3:00 p.m. Campus Tour**


    5:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. President's Circle and Class Committee Volunteer Reception-Invitation Only

    6:00 p.m. Cocktails, Class Dinners and After-Party - Tickets Required

    Saturday night is the highlight of Reunion weekend. Mingle with your classmates and enjoy how time and treasure have transformed campus.

  • SUNDAY, JUNE 10plus or minus

    9:30 a.m. Mass**

    10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Farewell Brunch** - Tickets required.

    On-campus dining certainly isn’t what it used to be! Reminisce with your classmates one last time at this full-scale brunch in the University’s Fresh Food Company. Come and go at times that are convenient for you.
