Professor lecturing an accounting class

About our Faculty

We take enormous pride in the deep bench of talent we have across our graduate programs.

Our faculty members bring a world of practical experience into the classroom. They are not only skillful educators but also top-notch researchers, authors, and practitioners. They also live the Jesuit values and often serve the community through their work, encouraging students to do the same.

From the start, graduate students benefit from their real-world knowledge and their hands-on approach to learning. Our faculty members not only offer academic planning and guidance, they are there as mentors and, often, colleagues in research.

“Our approach encourages students to engage the complexity of our diverse and globalized world through careful and critical analysis. We encourage students to view their education as the pursuit of knowledge for both their own personal advancement and as a resource to the broader human community.” - Michelle Maldonado, Ph.D., Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs

Scranton faculty members provide a nurturing environment with graduate student involvement in faculty-mentored student research projects, which lead to national peer-reviewed journals and national, international, and state-level presentations by students and faculty mentors. Faculty members also guide students through graduate assistantships.

Our faculty members consistently publish their own work and also present and collaborate with their students.
