University of Scranton students are an excellent resource for highly-skilled tutoring services in a variety of disciplines. The cost for these services vary.
To advertise to obtain a tutor for your child in grades K-12 to The University of Scranton student body, please contact Kristi Klien, The Gerard R. Roche Center for Career Development, or call their office at 570-941-7640 during regular business hours. Please have the subject area, grade and your contact information available.
Campus Ministries’ Center for Service & Social Justice has partnered with the Elm Park Church (corner of Linden St. & Jefferson Ave.) to provide volunteer tutors to students who cannot otherwise afford one. Tutoring services are offered, based on volunteer availability, on Sunday afternoons from 2:30-3:30pm during the University’s regular academic year. To register a child for these services, please contact Carole Mason, Elm Park Church, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (570) 342-8263.
