8am-3:45pm Key Pick-up is at assigned station.  To see your key pick up location, please view the upper-class move in map below:

4pm-9:45pm Key Pick-up is in Condron Hall, Residence Life Office

After 9:45pm, ask your RA to let you in to your room and report to Residence Life Office, Condron Hall, the following day.

Upper-Class Residence Hall Check-In Fall 2016

Upper-class residence hall check-in occurs on Sunday, August 21 from 8:00 am-4:00 pm.  Resident students can receive their keys at the following locations:

• Blair, Fayette, Gavigan, Gonzaga, Linden St. Apts. (Dorothy Day, Elizabeth Ann Seton and Katharine Drexel), Liva, McGowan, Redington and Tioga – Condron Hall Parking Lot on the corner of Linden St. and North Webster Ave.
• Condron Hall – Residence Life Office in Condron Hall.
• Madison Square and Mulberry Plaza Apts. - Mulberry Plaza Court Yard on Madison Ave.
• Montrone Hall and Pilarz Hall – Rock Hall Parking Lot off of McKenna Court.

Follow these traffic patterns to unload personal belongings:
Clay Ave. Commons - (Blair House, Gonzaga House, McGowan House and Gavigan Hall Residents) - The Clay Ave. Commons will be open for entrance from Mulberry Street, one way towards the Commons from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, Sunday, August 21. Vehicles should stay to the left after entering and move closest to the student’s residence hall. Students may unload the vehicle, proceed to the Commons, and turn left up the Commons and exit to Linden Street.

Linden Street Commons - (Condron Hall, Gavigan Hall and Redington Hall Residents) - The 1100 block of Linden Street, both sides (by Gavigan, Condron and Redington), will be available for unloading vehicles from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, Sunday, August 21 but cars must enter through the Royal Way by DeNaples Center/GLM or the Clay Ave. Commons by Driscoll Hall. Cars are not permitted to enter this one way un-loading area off of North Webster Ave. by Condron Hall.
 
Mahon Court - (Blair House, Gonzaga House, McGowan House and Condron Residents) – Mahon Court will be open for entrance from Mulberry Street by McGowan/Ciszek, one way towards the Commons from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, Sunday, August 21. Vehicles should stay to the right after entering and move closest to the student’s residence hall or house. Students may unload the vehicle, proceed to the Commons, and turn left up the Commons and exit to Linden Street.

(Montrone Hall and Pilarz Hall Residents) - For unloading purposes only, vehicles must enter the one way service road behind Montrone and Pilarz Halls entering off of Quincy or Monroe Ave. traveling one way toward Hitchcock Court.  Vehicles may also enter the service road through Hitchcock Court off of Mulberry St. but adhere to the one way traffic patterns.  All vehicles must exit on Hitchcock Court toward Vine St.

Mulberry Plaza, Madison Square and Linden St. Apts. (Katharine Drexel, Elizabeth Ann Seton and Dorothy Day) – For unloading in these areas students must utilize the nearest University parking lot or garage and off campus on street parking.

Redington Parking Lot - (Redington Hall Residents) - Redington Parking Lot will be made available for resident students to unload vehicles on Sunday, August 21. It is important that vehicles do not remain in the parking lot after they are loaded.

The Royal Way, Clay Ave., Mahon Court and the Commons are one way unloading areas only. Vehicles must remain off grass whenever possible and never left unattended while in the unloading areas.

The Office of Residence Life located in 100 Condron Hall will be open from 8:00 am-10:00 pm on Sunday, August 21 for assistance and late check in’s (4:00 pm-10:00 pm).  Contact the Office of Residence Life at res-life@scranton.edu or (570)941-6226 with questions.


Additional Information/Reminders for Upperclass Fall 2016 Check-In


*Transfer Student Orientation Check-In (for Resident Students) takes place on Thursday, August 18 at 8:30am on the 2nd floor of the DeNaples Center. 
*Approved Early Arrival Residents will receive a separate email regarding instructions.
*Tech Support Help Desk (Alumni Memorial Hall – 570-941-4357) Hours for the week of August 15 include – Monday, August 15 through Friday, August 19 – 8:00am-8:00pm and Saturday, August 20 through Sunday, August 21– 9:00 am-8:00 pm.
*Fall Dining Plans begin on Sunday, August 21 at dinner.  Students are not permitted to use meal swipes in the 3rd floor dining area unless approved early arrival groups have made prior arrangements.

Move your car to Ridge Row Parking Lot

Move in to your building.

Resident Assistants will be available to answer questions.
