International Programs

Each year, the Jesuit Center takes faculty and staff to Mexico, El Salvador, and Nicaragua to encounter and accompany the poor.

The purpose of each experience is to provide University faculty and staff with the opportunity to learn and grow in faith as well as in their understanding of the spiritual vision and tradition that animate the University’s mission. We also hope to grow in solidarity with those striving for social justice in Latin America.

When considering applying for a program, please take into consideration the many challenges facing each country and the daily struggles of the people. Participants should be willing to shoulder some personal sacrifice with respect to the comforts we take for granted every day. In many ways, our lives will be connected to people of Mexico, El Salvador, and Nicaragua for that week.

The Jesuit Center will pay for all expenses related to these international programs.
