On-Campus Marketing
Student clubs and organizations may continue to market their events with campus posters, social media, use of the Alumni iTower in the DeNaples Center, and table sits, among other options.
There are many ways to advertise your meetings and events. Below are some adverting ideas:
- RoyalSync - Create an event on your ROYALSYNC organization for your club meetings or events. You can do this by navigating to your club/organization's Dashboard and click the blue "Create" button in the top right hand corner (select Event on the pop-up menu). The Center for Student Engagement staff will review and approve. All approved meetings and events will be automatically populated into RoyalSync, so students will be able to see your program listed on the Events page.
- Posters - Based on feedback collected from students, use of printed posters are one of the most effective ways to advertise on campus. All posters should be printed at the University of Scranton Print Services. For information on how to access Printing Services, please contact the Center for Student Engagement at cse@scranton.edu. Please see the DeNaples Center Posting Policy regarding hanging posters in the DeNaples Center.
- Alumni iTower - The Alumni iTower can be used for digital advertising of meetings and events. Once approved, please submit your information in a .JPEG format to itower@scranton.edu.
- DeNaples Center White Boards - Any club, organization, or University related department wishing to promote campus events and activities may place a whiteboard easel in the DeNaples Center in one of five (5) designated locations. Whiteboard easels may only be placed in designated locations no earlier than two days prior to the promoted event or activity. Whiteboards are meant to serve as final reminders and as a supplement to other forms of advertisements. Please email cse@scranton.edu for additional information.
