Malware, short for malicious software, is any software used to disrupt computer operation, gather sensitive information or gain access to private computer systems. Malware may be stealthy, intended to steal your information or spy on your computer for an extended period without your knowledge.
Recommendations for personally owned devices
Malwarebytes is also recommended for computers that are not University-owned. Review these instructions to download and run this program on your Windows or MAC computer.
