Volunteering in your Region

Regional Volunteers are an instrumental part of the University of Scranton community. Regional Volunteers are called upon to:

•Advance the University’s Mission as a Jesuit, Catholic Institution of Higher Education.

•Promote the University as a preferred destination for undergraduate and graduate education.

•Facilitate the professional development and engagement of students and alumni.

•Support the University philanthropically in a committed manner.

The University encourages volunteer-driven alumni engagement programming and events that support the University’s mission and priorities. Alumni volunteers seeking financial support for regional initiatives are encouraged to apply for grants to support such activities. Grant support will be considered for programs and events that promote alumni & student engagement, mission & ministry and philanthropy.
