Laurie B. Valunas

Professor Valunas, was named faculty specialist in the nursing department. She has more than 20 years of experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She previously worked for Physicians Health Alliance in Dickson City, Goldsboro Pediatrics and Duke University Medical Center. She earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from The University of Scranton and a master's degree in nursing and her pediatric nurse practitioner certification from Duke University.
