Office of Research & Sponsored Programs

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) assists faculty members in securing external funding for research activities, aids faculty, staff and administrators in securing programmatic grants, supports student research activities, and provides guidance on grant-related research and related policies.ORSP reports to the Associate Provost of Academic Affairs.
  • Supervision of the grants approval and submission process for faculty and staff
  • Coordination of research-related policies
  • Administration, in conjunction with the Registrar's Office, of the Faculty/Student Research Program (FSRP)
  • Administration of the Student Opportunities in Academic Research (SOAR) program
  • Publications such as: Grants Flyer (annual)
