 William Miller, PhD, MHA, was named Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Administration and Human Resources. He received a Bachelor of Science in health science from Lock Haven University, a Master of Health Administration from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Development – Health Promotion from Marywood University. Driven by the idea that “successful healthcare organizations will be those that are best able to meet patients where they are and effectively provide services outside ‘their four walls’”, Dr Miller uses his over 20 years of management and leadership experience encompassing general management and oversight, marketing, staff development, budgeting, client relationship management, and quality leadership to identify the impact non-clinical decisions have on organization success. He is the Program Director for the MS in Health Informatics program and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Health Information Management Association, and Sigma Phi Omega professional society in gerontology.
