Elyse Kay, OTD, OTR/L

Elyse Kay, OTD, OTR/L, was named Faculty Specialist in the Department of Occupational Therapy. She completed a BS degree in sport and exercise science at DeSales University, a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Philadelphia University, and a post-professional occupational therapy doctorate degree from Gannon University. She has held various positions in the field of occupational therapy with most recently working in occupational therapy education, as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and Clinical Assistant Professor at Binghamton University as well as adjunct faculty member at the University of Scranton. Clinically she has worked with the geriatric population in home care, skilled nursing facilities, and nursing home settings. She is certified in LSVT BIG for those living with Parkinson’s disease. She currently holds the position as Financial Officer for District III of the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association (POTA) since 2022.
