Associate Provost for Civic Engagement and Academic Mission

Welcome

Welcome to the homepage of the Associate Provost for Civic Engagement and Academic Mission.  In keeping with the mission of Academic Affairs and the University's strategic plan, the Associate Provost for Civic Engagement and Academic mission works to foster and support faculty engagement with local, regional, national, and global communities.  Specifically, this entails support for service-learning and other forms of community-based learning; support for community-based research and other forms of public scholarship; and support for faculty professional service to the community.  The links on the left-hand side of the page provide access to internal and external resources that will assist faculty in their civic engagement efforts.
