Professional and Scholarly Opportunities
Students need a balance between studies, social activities and service opportunities. As such, we have provided the following opportunities for our students to become involved, which will enhance their college experiences and provide a basis for developing lasting friendships, a sense of belonging and a foundation for establishing a professional network.
Nursing and University Service trips: As a Jesuit University, we take our commitment to our Ignatian ideals seriously.
Army ROTC Nurse Program: With real world experience you may not find in nursing school alone, nursing students who are also Army ROTC Cadets benefit from extensive one-on-one mentoring and training. You'll find out exactly what it takes to become a leader in your medical field.
Travel Abroad: One of the unique opportunities our nursing students have is the option to study abroad during the spring semester of their sophomore year.
Honor Society: Sigma Theta Tau International is an honor society of nursing committed to fostering excellence, scholarship and leadership in nursing to improve health care worldwide.
