Center for Teaching Excellence
In concert, The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) and Office of Student Support & Success (OSSS) encourage and support a strong culture of teaching, learning and scholarship in the Ignatian Tradition for a diverse university community. Our staff work with faculty and students to help create an environment that encourages and supports student learning, faculty enrichment, instructional design, and the use of technology. We provide opportunities for faculty and students to work together to achieve academic success and have a positive learning experience.
Brightspace Support
The University offers multiple levels of Brightspace support, below outlines the order of operations for requesting Brightspace support.
- Technology Consultants (TechCons)
These are our student work study positions that provide the first level of support for the University. Our TechCons provide in person support in the resource lab LSC 589, are available by phone, and offer virtual support via a Microsoft Teams meeting link. Each shift they join the call and are available for virtual support by joining the meeting.

The University uses a ticketing system for varying support requests, Brightspace is no different! If you need support, please submit a helpdesk request using the link below:

Tickets are routed to CTE members and addressed during regular business hours based on priority, volume, and availability. - CTE Members
