Your First Stop: Technology Support Center (TSC)

The Technology Support Center (TSC) is the first point of contact for technology help across campus. The TSC can assist with account setup, password resets, email access, wireless connectivity, Royal Card services, and more.

Your University Account & Login Essentials

Every member of the University community receives a University account that provides access to essential systems and services.

Key Systems You’ll Use

  • my.scranton Portal – Central hub for email, Brightspace, Self Service, and more
  • University Email (@scranton.edu) – Accessible via my.Scranton or Outlook
  • Microsoft 365 – Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required to protect your account and University data.


Royal Card: Your Campus ID

The Royal Card is the official University ID for all students, faculty and staff. It is used for:

  • Building and facility access
  • Library services and printing
  • Dining and meal plans
  • Campus transactions
Royal Cards are issued and supported through the Technology Support Center. Lost or stolen cards should be reported immediately.


Campus Technology & Connectivity

Wireless Access

  • ROYALSECURE is the primary secured wireless network
  • Guest wireless is available for visitors
  • Personal wireless access points are not permitted

Devices & Software

  • Students may connect personal computers, phones, and other devices
  • Faculty and staff receive support for University-owned devices
  • Microsoft 365 is available to all students, faculty, and staff
