Stop by the DeNaples Patio and Dionne Green to visit our downtown vendors, support student club fundraisers, have fun on bounce houses, cheer on our student performers, and visit with other Scranton families. Student dance and cheer groups will be performing throughout RoyalFest, with music by DJ Edward Hart '19.

    Archery Club
    A fun way to release stress with an arrow between exams, the Archery Club allows beginners and experts to join to have fun and compete. This club began four years ago and is now considered a club sport at the University. They will soon be competing with local colleges.

    The Edward R. Leahy Jr. Center Clinic for the Uninsured
    The Edward R. Leahy Hr. Center Clinic for the Uninsured is a center on campus that provides health services to uninsured individuals. They also offer programs such as the University of Success pre-college program and Peacemakers After-School Program.

    FANS (The Future Alumni Network of Scranton)
    FANS is a student-run organization that fosters a meaningful network between students and The Alumni Society of The University of Scranton. FANS hosts events, workshops and dinners each year with alumni and students as a way to engage and connect alumni to current Royals. FANS will use Family Weekend to spread the word about the club to current students and parents as well as offer ways to get involved.

    Occupational Therapy Kauai, Hawaii Fieldwork
    In January 2020, eight senior occupational therapy students will participate in a Level 1 fieldwork experience on Kauai, Hawaii. The Aloha Kauai fieldwork experience helps OT students understand the impact of occupational therapy services on the health and quality of life of individuals living in a medically underserved, multicultural community within their own country. They will be selling apparel and items to raise funds for their trip.

    The occupational therapy grad students are working hard to raise money for America's Vet Dogs. Please support the cause!

    The University of Scranton's chapter of Relay for Life will be promoting their club by sharing information and selling t-shirts. Stop by to support their cause!

    The Social Justice Club
    The Social Justice Club works to bring awareness and action to social injustices throughout the world. Their table will be selling Fair Trade goods that are produced under just conditions by workers who are paid fairly.

    Spanish Cultural Society
    The Spanish Cultural Society aims to provide some cultural diversity and awareness to campus in terms of the Latino/Hispanic world. They will be advertising their club on campus through a table-sit during Family Weekend.

    Student Government
    Student Government is an organization of students who are committed to advocating for their peers, collaborate with students to create clubs and organize events, and overall work towards change and progress within the University community.

    Student Veterans Organization
    The Student Veterans Organization consists of student veterans, military dependents, and any university member who is interested in becoming a member. They volunteer their time and contribute monetarily to veteran organizations in the area, are interested in improving the student veterans’ experience on campus and in the classroom, and garner support for veterans in higher education. The Student Veterans Organization is here to support their brothers and sisters in transitioning into academia successfully.

    The University of Scranton Cheerleading Team
    The University of Scranton Cheerleading Team cheers at both the Men's and Women's home basketball games. They also compete in the Open All-Girl Division at The UCA/UDA National College Cheerleading and Dance Championships in Orlando, Florida. The girls are experienced in partner stunting and gymnastics. At Family Weekend they will perform a routine consisting of cheers, tumbling, and stunting, and will also host a fundraising table where families can purchase Scranton apparel.

    The University's Dance Team will be performing at 11:45 a.m. on the Dionne Green and again at the Women's soccer game at 1:00 p.m. Come see them dance and stop by their table!

    Women's Crew Team
    The women's crew team will be hosting their annual erg-a-thon fundraiser. The team will be broken up into two in a competition to see who can row a marathon quicker. They will have raffle prizes and an opportunity to learn how to use a rowing machine yourself!
