Why should people choose to attend the Rehabilitation Counseling program here at Scranton?

"The education you receive is only matched by the relationships you foster while completing this program."

What sets this program apart?

"The constant professional and personal support you receive while completing this program is what sets it apart from other universities."

What did you appreciate about the program?

"I appreciated the accommodations made to ensure I completed the program in a timely fashion while not having to sacrifice family time or my ability to continue to grow as a professional."

How did it prepare you for your current role?

"As an executive director, I am able to use my clinical skills to manage my team in the most effective way. I have also been able to develop the skill set the U has given me to thrive in my personal practice. I am a good counselor because of my time in this program and I will continue to be a good counselor because the University has stressed that my education does not stop once I leave their facility.

The prestige that comes with obtaining a master’s degree from this University has set me apart from my peers when securing positions with organizations. I have reached a senior level manager position at large organizations and this degree has played a major role in that accomplishment.

From networking with other successful alumni, to fostering relationships with future counselors, I have increased my circle of amazing professionals whom I am able to work through daily issues I face. I regularly contact my mentors in this program for professional advice and five years after graduating I am never turned away.

The University of Scranton truly makes you feel like one of their own long after your time there is done -- and with that kind of support following you through your career how can you not be a success?
