Career Coaches Program
The Kania Career Coaches Program pairs current Kania School of Management students with distinguished alumni and friends of the University for a year-long mentoring relationship. Coaches offer advice and guidance on career and professional development, and our experience shows that coaching makes a real difference in helping students secure internships and full-time jobs.
Program Goals
The program connects each student with an experienced professional contact, increases their exposure to the professional world, creates opportunities to discuss leadership styles and skills, and supports career planning and networking.
How It Works
From October through May, students and coaches connect monthly around a focused topic, from resume reviews and networking plans to interview preparation and internship or job search updates.
Our Coaches
The early stages of choosing a career path are critical, and learning from an experienced professional in one's field has proven extremely valuable to our students. Recent coaches include managing directors in investment banking and sales and trading; CEOs, COOs, and CFOs of major financial services firms; a human resources executive; a marketing principal; and a Big 4 public accounting partner.
Our coaches come from organizations including Aramark, Bank of America, Brown Brothers Harriman, Deloitte, Dun & Bradstreet, Equitable, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Madison Square Garden, Merrill Lynch, MetLife, Morgan Stanley, PNC Bank, PwC, Sanofi, the Scranton Chamber of Commerce, SRA International, UBS, and Vanguard.
