W3USR Dedication
Please join us for the dedication of the W3USR University of Scranton Amateur Radio Station on Friday, October 25, 2024!
The W3USR Amateur Radio Station was built with a generous grant from the Amateur Radio Digital Communications (ARDC) foundation, with additional support from Dr. Mary Lou West KC2NMC, Mr. Ed Hayes '61 N6XEM, Mr. Jeff DePolo WN3A, DXEngineering, and the United States National Science Foundation (NSF).

Friday, October 25, 2024- 3:10 PM Free Public Lecture and Dedication Ceremony (LSC 133):
Dedication of the New W3USR Amateur Radio Station: Education, Research, Service, and Fun!
Presented by Dr. Nathaniel Frissell, W2NAF and members of the W3USR Amateur Radio Club - 4:15 PM Free Light Reception, Poster Session, and Open Station Hours (LSC Atrium)

The W3USR Station will be open for visits and operating following the public lecture and dedication ceremony.
Location
All W3USR Dedication events will take place in the University of Scranton Loyola Science Center, home to the W3USR station. For directions and parking information, please visit the W3USR home page.Registration
The public lecture, light reception, poster session, and open station hours are all free and do not require registration. A ticketed buffet dinner will be served at 6:15 PM. Tickets are $30 per person and are available from the online registration page.
