Directions from hotel to campus (walking): Exit main door of hotel and make right onto Adams Avenue. At second stop light, make right onto Linden Street. Proceed up Linden Street three blocks up you’ll see the University of Scranton's Class of 2020 Gateway Sign for the University of Scranton. To the left will be the The Weinberg Memorial Library and "University Commons"... head up the hill and pass library. Make a left at the Dionne Green and you will see The DeNaples Center directly straight ahead of you.
Directions from the hotel to the campus parking pavilion (driving): Exit the parking garage and turn right onto Adams Avenue. At the second light, make a right onto Linden Street. Proceed two blocks and turn left onto Madison Avenue. Halfway up the street will be the back entrance to the parking pavilion OR continue straight to the light and turn right onto Mulberry Street. Turn right immediately past the Parking Pavilion/University Police and enter the garage on the right. (The DeNaples Center is on the left)
Travel Information
The University of Scranton is easily reached by air and car.
BY AIR: The metropolitan Scranton area, we are serviced by the Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport | FlyAVP. Allegiant, Delta, United and American Airlines are the airlines that fly through Wilkes-Barre/Scranton with connecting flights to Dulles, VA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL, and Philadelphia, PA. The airport is off Exit 178 off Interstate 81, about 10 miles south of Scranton.
The Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport (AVP) does have rental car vendors and Uber service is available in this area. The Hilton Scranton & Conference Center does offer a complimentary airport shuttle service from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. - you would need to coordinate this service with the hotel accordingly.
BY CAR: Off of Route 81, Scranton, PA is nestled along the east coast corridor in northeastern Pennsylvania approximately two hours north of Philadelphia off of the northeast extension (blue route) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and two hours northwest of New York City; with Trenton,NJ and Hartford, CT less than three hours away and Washington D.C. and Boston, MA only four-and-a-half hours away. Unfortunately, train service is currently not available to Scranton, PA as in the days of old. You can find directions to our campus using this following link: Directions to Campus

- From the North: I-81 South to Exit 185*
- From the West: I-80 East to I-81 North to Exit 185*
- From Connecticut and New England: I-84 West to I-81 South to Exit 185*
- From New York and Northern New Jersey: I-80 West to I-380 North to I-81 South to Exit 185*
- From Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey: Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476) to Exit 115, then I-81 North to Exit 185*
- From Baltimore and Washington: I-83 North to I-81 North to Exit 185*
*From I-81 Exit 185 (President Biden Expressway) to the Parking Pavilion
(GPS Address: 820 Mulberry Street, Scranton, PA 18510):
- Follow signs to campus (on right).
- Before the first traffic signal, turn sharply right onto Madison Avenue.
- Proceed 2 blocks and turn right at the light onto Mulberry Street.
- After 1 block, turn right into the main entrance (level 2) of the Parking Pavilion.

All network meeting attendees who wish to bring a vehicle to campus will need to display a parking permit and are encouraged to park in the Campus Parking Pavilion.
