An immersion experience in El Salvador for faculty, staff and administrators. Includes meeting with Universidad Centroamericana personnel and professors, educators, religious, women and youth activists, economists, political figures, environmentalists and business leaders.

Sites have included: * St. Michael's, Arizona, working with children with disabilities on a Navajo Reservation * Shelters in Cincinnati, OH * Habitat for Humanity work in North Carolina * Los Angeles CA working with community outreach. The students raise funds for transportation, housing and food costs.

New freshmen spend one week volunteering at area agencies and on campus while reflecting on the commitment to service. They stay at the Retreat and Conference Center and are led by upperclassmen and faculty/staff volunteers.

VITA (volunteer income tax assistance)	Accounting Department

In partnership with the area agencies, interns and other students assist low income and elderly clients to complete tax returns.
