Frequently Asked Questions during COVID-19

Will I be able to see a counselor in person?
There may be circumstances where students will be seen in person.  However, you may need to work with the counselor that’s assigned to you to determine what is best for you moving forward for both the safety of yourself and counselor.  We are encouraging students to consider telehealth through Zoom video conferencing or phone conferencing as a reasonable alternative.

What if I don’t have a private space to do a remote session?
The Counseling Center will be able to help any student who cannot identify a private place to do a remote session.  Currently, we have secured multiple spaces that can serve as a private space for an individual or group remote therapy session.  If you find yourself in this situation and need assistance, please call the Counseling Center at 570-941-7620 and we will alert your counselor.
