Accessible information: Admissions Forms, Student Schedule, Student Records and Grades, Tax Information, and Financial Aid Forms and Letters.

Important: Students should never share their login information for my.scranton.

1. The Student Needs to Authorize Third Party Access:  

  1. The student needs to log in at my.scranton.edu.
  2. Click on the Home tab.
  3. Click on Self Service.
  4. Select Personal Information.
  5. Click on Third Party Authorization Form.
  6. Click on Add a New User.
  7. Complete the User Details.
  8. Select What They Can View...
  9. Submit the form.
  10. Notify the third party of the username (including the P*) and password you created for them. You and the third party will receive email confirmation that indicates that this process was successful.

Note: Remember the Username and Password that you are assigning, as you will need to communicate this with the authorized individual. When they sign in, they must include the P* for the username.

2. Accessing the Student Information

Once the student has completed the Third Party Access authorization (detailed above), and has shared the username and password, their information can be obtained by following these steps:  

  1. Go to scranton.edu/thirdpartyaccess
  2. Use the Username and Password created by the student.
  3. Click Login.
Note: Make sure to include the P* for the username.

Accessable information: e-bills, make e-payments, setup a payment plan, and print a remittance advice in order to mail payments.

  1. Login to the my.scranton portal.
  2. Go to the Student tab.
  3. Click on the Nelnet Business Solutions link.
  4. You will be redirected to the Nelnet Campus Commerce Site.
  5. Click on the Add an Authorized Party link in the lower right hand corner. 

Note:  You can have multiple authorized parties. You should setup any individual that you would like to have access to your tuition account as an authorized party. Your parent or guardian has 48 hours to complete the registration process. An e-mail will be sent to the email provided during the authorized party setup. 

2. Accessing the Student Information

Authorized parties will receive a separate user name and password to access the billing information through www.nbspayments.com.
