I give to Scranton because I value the Jesuit education that I received.
Returning for my 25th Class Reunion stirred memories and emotional ties to my Scranton days. The spiritual retreats at Chapman Lake under the guidance of Rev. John J. Quinn, S.J. and Rev. John J. Fitzpatrick, S.J. provided opportunities for self-reflection and soul searching. During these retreats, many friendships were forged.
I've supported Scranton every year since my graduation in 1981. I feel a commitment to "give back" because Jesuits like Father Quinn and Father "Fitz" made an indelible difference in and tremendous impact on my life.
The Retreat Center at Chapman Lake is still providing spiritual and communal opportunities for students. These important values and traditions make Scranton unique.
