We give to Scranton because of our commitment to a Catholic, Jesuit education.

The charism of Ignatius of Loyola and the spirit of the Jesuits that we first encountered at the University have influenced the whole of our lives since graduating from Scranton. We are never content to be simply "innocent bystanders" in life, and we are challenged by what we learned in and out of the classroom. Whether it be volunteering to make a difference in our local community, teaching religious education, gardening with the homeless at a retreat house in Philadelphia, or answering the call to serve through the Diaconate Program, the Jesuit challenge for us is to infuse spirituality in the details of life and to be changed by those we meet each day.
