Digital Record of Scranton's History Receives Local Media Attention

The Scranton Digital Postcard Collection, mounted on the Special Collections Web site, has received a fair amount of publicity thanks to the efforts of Stan Zygmunt, Manager of Media Relations at The University of Scranton. The Digital Postcard Collection is an ongoing project of digitizing early 20^th century postcards of Scranton from the Frank Judge Collection, donated to Weinberg Library by Christine Gialorenzo. The Digital Collection, which features geographically arranged images of Scranton, was featured in the Scranton Times and also received television exposure on WBRE and PAX TV. New images are being added regularly so check back from time to time to see more of Scranton's architectural heritage online.
