She has served on the board of directors of Penns Woods Girl Scout Council and as director of Studio CEO, an event at the FM Kirby Center designed to foster entrepreneurialism and business acumen in the course of esteem building among girls aged 12-15.
Ms. Kolesar handled media for Tina Polachek Gartley, a successful candidate for the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas in 2009. Kolesar’s media successes have included Rick Williams, who won a seat on the newly formed Luzerne County Council and Lesa Gelb, who garnered one of six seats on the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas in 2010. Most recently she handled general election media for State Representative Phyllis Mundy, who won a hotly contested race for the Pennsylvania State Legislature.
Kolesar resides in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania and Freeport, Grand Bahama and has been a recipient of the Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal’s Top 25 Women in Business.
