Ahmed Gomaa is a professor of Operations and Analytics at the Kania School of Management at the University of Scranton. His recent publications leverage cryptocurrencies, and blockchain solutions to enable digital transformations, and new business models that engage stakeholders, increase efficiency, and improve customer experiences.  His application domains are Health Informatics, Accounting Information Systems, and Technology Startups. As a Fulbright SpecialistNSF SBIR/STTR reviewer, NSF I-Corps mentor, and technical lead, he works closely with the industry. Ahmed is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)SM. He earned his MBA and Ph.D. in Information Technology from Rutgers University, NJ.
