Latest Leaves of Class Winners

March - Atty. Michael Barrasse of Scranton won a framed, rate leaf from the Christopher Sauer 1743 Bible from Artifacts Unlimited and a limited-edition, signed copy of Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park.
 
April - Karyn Salitsky of Carbondale, PA, won a weekend getaway for two via bus to New York City. The trip included a two-night stay in a top New York City hotel and passes to the premier book fair of them all, the New York Antiquarian Book Fair at the Park Avenue Armory courtesy of Travelworld and Sanford L. Smith & Associates.
 
May - Rosalie Sakevich of Scranton won "A Day of Beauty" with unique European services for hair, nails, skin and body at Alexander's Salon & Day Spa and two 1999 season tickets to the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic's classical series of concerts.
 
June - Jo,Ann Nicoteri of Clarks Summit, PA, won lunch for two with local children's book author Lisa Fraustino, an ABBY favorite as well as tickets for two to the next Distinquished Author Dinner hosted by the Friends of the Library. JoAnn also won a glittering pair of Waterford crystal bookend and sterling silver letter opener from Helen Schwartz Gifts.
 
July - Darla Germeroth of Scranton won a $200.00 gift certificate from Ticketmaster to be used to buy tickets to the event of her choice, two tee shirts from Lion King, the musical, and a gift certificate from Boscov's to start her on her trip.
 
Look for Leaves of Class II tickets to go on sale this fall. This year's drawing will be a fundraiser solely for the Weinberg Library's National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant Fund named in honor of the Rev. Bernard R. Mcllhenny, S.J.
