- Alexander Pope First Editions Donated To Library
- Brian J. Murray and his wife Diane have donated a collection of first editions by Alexander Pope to the Weinberg Memorial Library in Memory Louis D, Mitchell, Ph.D. Mr. Murray, a University trustee, earned a bachelor's in English in 1967; Dr. Mitchell has a member of the University English faculty for 28 rears until his death in 1989. > Full story

- BACKSERV—The Missing Issues Solution
- One of the problems we constantly face in the Serials Department is missing back issues of journals. These issues can be missing for several reasons. Some are mutilated by patrons; other issues are never received in the first place; other issues just seem to sprout legs and walk through the Library's gates undetected. > Full story
- New Library Hours
- Beginning in September, 1995, Library hours on Saturdays will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., including November 15, 1995, the Saturday following Thanksgiving. Previously, hours for Saturdays were 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- ILL And Acquisitions Have Gone Electronic
- As of the new semester the interlibrary loan request form will be available electronically. This option will appear on our main menu both on the Library OPC terminals and through jaguar using LIBCAT connection. > Full story

- The National Alumni Society and the Weinberg Memorial Library are issuing a call to all University of Scranton graduates who are published authors of books or monographs. > Full story
- A Special Thanks to Our Newest Friends
- Booksale A Success
- The Friends of the Weinberg Memorial Library held their first annual booksale to raise funds for programs and endowments on May 6, 1995. A special preview sale for members of the Friends only was held on Friday evening prior to the Saturday sale. > Full story
