Routine Copying/Duplicating
“Routine Duplicating” or “Copying” describes all the toner-based, black and white copies normally made from print-ready, customer-provided files or originals using any of the high-speed laser printers located in the Print Shop’s Copy Center.
Prices vary by the Deadlines/Due Dates, by what paper is used, and by what finishing and other options are elected:
- Up to 1,000 copies on bond paper from automatable originals/files can be made within eight working hours for $.04 per copy (second sides of two-sided copies cost $.035).
- Up to 1,000 copies on bond paper from automatable originals/files can be made while you wait for $.045 per copy (second sides of two-sided copies cost $.04).
- All other copy jobs begin at a rate of $.04 per copy with extra charges for electing other papers, for sorting complex originals/configuring files, for non-automated collating, for special finishing, etc.
Options available at no additional cost include stapling up to 70 sheets, automated collating, automatic page numbering, and half-tone conversion of photographs.
Modest selections of colored bond, text and cover weight papers are kept on hand. Those requesting non-stock items should allow time for ordering and delivery, and should plan for higher costs.
Output-ready files can be sent attached to an e-mail that has all the instructions and delivery information normally included on a Printing Requisition to Printing@Scranton.edu.
