Energizing Yoga: This class is for experienced students as well as beginners with a higher fitness level. Breath is emphasized throughout this practice. The class includes sun salutations, standing, seated and reclining poses as well as some balancing poses. Relaxation closes the class.

Gentle Yoga: This class is perfect for the beginner or someone who prefers a slower yoga class.  Basic yoga poses will be taught.  Breathing practices and relaxation techniques will be presented to achieve an inner sense of wellbeing. Instruction will include simple alignment techniques to cultivate comfortable posture and internal strength.

Learn to Dance: Salsa, foxtrot, and waltz your way to a healthier heart! Did you know that dance is a great aerobic activity that promotes heart health? Move to the beat and get your heart pumping at this interactive lunchtime dance class that will introduce participants to different dance styles.

Mindfulness Meditation: This half hour class provides the fundamentals of Mindfulness Mediation which is shown to reduce anxiety, depression and to improve well-being. Through increased awareness of body sensations, thoughts and emotions and a reduction in stress sensations these practices are intended to enhance the participant’s ability to recognize and respond to the stressors of everyday life.
Through meditation and awareness exercises, we will explore this practical time-proven approach to living fully in the present moment.
