Databases and Journals

Databases
are indexes of published works in journals, magazines, newspapers, and other periodicals. Many databases provide full-text access to articles, while others provide only an abstract and link to a full-text article in another database or to ILLiad for InterLibrary Loan. Some databases contain specific types of information, such as encyclopedic, business, legal, or medical information. You may access the databases by authenticating through the My.Scranton portal or via the A-Z Databases List.

Journals and other periodicals (including magazines and newspapers) can be searched by title or subject.
