Downtown Scranton Information

Electric City logo.jpg

The University of Scranton is proud to be part of the City of Scranton, with its campus located just adjacent to Courthouse Square in downtown Scranton.

The Office of Community Relations seeks to help support the continued renaissance of the downtown and the vitality of the wider region of Northeastern Pennsylvania by sharing resources and information about the City with current and prospective students, faculty, staff and parents.

Since 2011, the University has coordinated special events and collaborations as part of its Downtown Engagement Initiative, to connect the University and downtown business community. Events include special walking tours, downtown dinners during Family Weekend, and the Downtown Scavenger Hunt and Electric City Downtown Nite during the fall semester.
