Knowledge Examination
A pre-/post-test knowledge examination was developed by Julie Ann Nastasi, OTD, OTR/L, SCLV, to measure occupational therapy students’ knowledge of low vision rehabilitation. During the first 3 weeks of the placement, the occupational student will complete the pre-test. The student will then complete an independent study of the two PowerPoint tutorials. Upon completion of the fieldwork placement, the student will complete the post-test. The fieldwork educator will evaluate the student’s pre- and post-test scores to identify areas of strength and weakness. This process will assist the fieldwork educator in developing structured learning activities for the student. An answer key was provided to the site for the knowledge examination. Copies of the knowledge examination and answer key are attached.
